Playful Pause – A Home Cinema and Game Room in Frisco
Playful Pause gives an upstairs landing a job to do. One end becomes a cinema — a wide screen, tiered recliners and a film-strip running the length of the wall beneath framed Lights, Camera, Action prints. The other opens out for table tennis, with crimson banding wrapping the room to tie the two halves together and a crystal cascade dropping through the stairwell. It is a floor built for a Friday night in, and it reads as deliberate rather than tacked on.
